Today's society is where we all need to be able to defend ourselves as well as our children.   I took 4 teens with me ( they are all planning on going to MSU Missoula this fall) to the training, they all learned enough where they feel more comfortable to be away from home and be on campus.   Hand outs are easy to understand and instructors were knowledgeable and funny, they did help us to understand and practice in such a way that, we would remember easily.   Thank you everyone for letting us to be a part and let our daughters feel at ease.

Over the Labor Day weekend I instructed two of your students in the Warrior Science Spontaneous Knife Defense Instructor course.  First, I’d like to thank you for graciously allowing us to utilize your facility.  It was fantastic to have such a well-equipped, clean and suitable facility for the students to learn.  I am grateful for your generosity as were the students.  I also want to sing the praises of your students, Troy and Thea.  They were both very fast learners and two of the best students I’ve had the pleasure to instruct.  While I was impressed with their practical abilities, what impressed me most was the academic performance.  They were given a lot of information to digest in both lecture and written materials and a substantial written examination covering all six chapters in the manual.  In the 93 question written exam, they missed a total of ONE question between both of them.  Troy scored a perfect 100% on the exam, which is rare, even when we spread the course over three days.  They both must have studied very hard and took the information seriously.  In my mind, these are instructors who “get it” when it comes to teaching material as serious as this that could some day save a life.

So, thank you once again for the great facility and excellent students.  You should be very proud of both of them.  I sincerely hope to get the opportunity to instruct them again some day.
